I don't see a problem with it most of the time.
But sometimes there are guys who go overboard, like a friend of mine used to. He wore so much that his face was a completely different tone to the rest of his body. Luckily he's toned it down so it looks more natural.

Overall too much make-up is bad, regardless if it's on girls or guys!

I don't think lip make-up fits guys as well as it does girls, but wouldn't think there's much wrong with covering up imperfections and a bit of eye make-up.

I think I am in the makeup for 'dramatic effect' camp.
not for beauty that's for sure.

I'm glad to see that several people are in the not for beauty camp... I hate seeing people with inch thick foundation or a gallon of fake tan... it makes me feel like I'm in some weird false reality.

I like it for the most part personally, especially the goth look. Hell, I find it completely sexy when a guy can do something typically regarded as feminine and rock it.

If it's what you enjoy and it makes you happy, go for it. That being said, I wear eyeshadow almost everyday :)

Wow, you're in GA, you wear eye-makeup, and you haven't been murdered....
...or hell, just arrested for being weird (that's still illegal in Georgia, isn't it?)

Bra-vo!  Keep up the fight!

I changed the name of the thread so I could post this, as I didn't feel it warranted starting a whole new thread:

Yes! Makeup is meant to enhance features and it's really fun to do. It doesn't hurt anyone and if you don't like it, don't do it!

Fun fact I learned today at a museum: both men and women of ancient Mesopotamia regularly wore makeup.
