spiderman's always been a camp story. case in point, kraven the hunter. anyway, broadway? sigh.
Yes, comics can be camp but like I've said three million times before is that Spiderman is such a simple story!
I would offer that Spiderman started
simple, but got complicated as Peter Parker grew from a teenager to an adult,
and his whole life got more complicated. It's that sort of growth-potential that makes comics such a great medium,
and is so often overlooked by people who dismiss comics as just kids-stuff....
