I still haven't gotten into Another Year...

being the horrid procrastinator that I am, I love this one.



I usually skip over Ultima Esperanza. It's pretty but it does nothing for me and also Modern Moonlight. It's meh. I only really like the live versions where afp gets really deep with the aahh ahh ah ahhhhh parts.

do you think of any other songs as colours?

I've always associated words with colors, I have no idea why.
Example: Backstabber is blue, Shores is yellow, Night Reconaissance is bright red.
I think it has to do with the letters, more precisely the vowels.
Pretty much every word has a color to me.

to me backstabber is blue, agreed. shores is gold. night reconnaissance is a mix. blood red and black.
i agree. sometimes it has to do with the letters. its usually like, certain letters stand out that represent colors.
sometimes themes to do with what that word means and represents.
backstabber, the B stands out so its blue. or black or brown.
but when i think of backstabber i think of fighting. so i think of bruises. which are usually blue and black, right?
shores of california is pretty simple.  the yellow sand, golden sunset. etc.
night reconnaissance to me is a song of revenge, revenge is blood red and black

I've never really had any kind of sound synaesthesia, but I would link things like colours to numbers to days of the week to random people.
ie: 7 -> Thursday -> Purple

I guess there's no song by Dolls I can really say I HATE. But I often skip Modern Moonlight, Sorry Bunch and Shores of California... they just don't make me feel anything, I'm saying they are bad, rather just too ordinary. And I used to dislike  Thirty Whacks, Glass Slipper and Slide, but now I really love them, which means probably one day I'd like those three too. I think the Dolls are the only one band about which I can honestly say I don't have hated songs. They are just too awesome

Really? I LOVE Ultima, I'm not huge on most of the second half of NV though, The first five are like whoa! Lonesome Organist is ok, Sorry Bunch is kind of weird and forgettable, Pretty In Pink is good and fun, but no where near the bar set by the first half, The Kill is pretty good, and The Sheep Song is another 'eh' for me. Luckily Boston brings it home.
Also, for me Missed me is a song that I either am in the mood for or not. It's also hard to listen to the A is For Accident version of Mrs O.
I never skip songs though, that is if I'm listening to an album. If I'm listening to my music on random, then yeah, but I never skip tracks while listening to an album.

As for me, it's the vowels that determine the color. A is blue, I is red, U is purple...
