So a shadow box collective could be trinkets and special things collected inside of a shadow box.

Although, I also see the drama in the words shadow box -- makes me think of shadow puppets and dark theater...

Perhaps this is why I don't post very often.... don't really fit in with you vampires!

We are like the pretty little trinkets inside the shadowbox.

So we're afraid of light damage?  Granted, that's why I never go out during the day, but I didn't think the whole board had that habit.

My highest posting times are between 10pm-1am I believe.
I wake up to darkness, I'm shut in school all day while the sun shines, I'm inside doing homework and chores until 5 when the sun goes down and my add meds wear off, then I have time to myself to do as I please and walk the dogs and be on the computer.
I don't fancy myself a creature of night or more at ease when the light is down, actually I feel the opposite about the light, I love it.
But it seems I do most of my.. Doing at night.
so maybe the room my computer is in, is like a giant box, and since everyone else is asleep the lights are all off, the computer gives off light and my body creates a shadow in the room.
that must be it.

the old one was pretty glitchy/spam-ridden.
fun fact, this is the 4th incarnation of some type of dresden dolls forum (not always called the shadowbox, to the best of my knowledge.  at least not always at this domain).  there was also a short-lived separate brigade forum that eventually became joined with the third forum/first shadowbox, launched in summer of '04.

the last incarnation had a lot of problems with spam posts
the mods spent a lot of time deleting them

forum software had evolved,
to deal with preventing spam posts,
as well as new features

so amanda, 
the shadowbox goddess, and his minions
went for it
