amanda cares about her fans as people.
she's not a saint.
but being a performer is more than just a job,
and more than just $$$ for her

i also have no problem with her or anyone asking
those with extra and excessive $$$ to support them
and their art/research/work. 

patronage is probably older than human civilization. 
like any other human behavior
it can be good or evil on both sides.
but in amanda's fan base, it's good from her,
and in the examples, i've seen good, for and from her fans

Oh, yes Len, I actually don't mind the way she's doing to raise the album, actually i love those pre-funds projects, and also i don't care if people is willing to pay one million dollars to her, it's not my money and it's not my business, but you want me to be part of that business right?

I TRIED TO GET THE PHYSICAL ALBUM, but when I saw the cost i just thought that putting an album for $25 dollars is for a new artist trying to be known, not for a well-known-artist. Or at least, for that price, a deluxe edition (a normal edition must exists) or some goodies.

I am sorry but I think I am right. I supported the Dolls & Amanda when she was affordable, I also got the $100 package of WKAP and tought it was crazy, but I did it, I tought it was to be the only time they'd do that, but then the new recordigns came and we got the 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, 100000000 packages, some people will pay I know, the problem is when the $10 dollars cd happen to be the $25 dollars cd, and that's the cheaper price.

the only thing you are doing with that, if you doesn't know, is making people feeling frustrated that they can't afford the product.
fans: getting the one million dollars package doesn't makes you the best fan.

I love the music, love the concept, love the product, DON'T AGREE WITH PRICE.
isn't supposed to be: as more fans buying the album, more affordable prices? It seems like not.

thank you afp team if you give good reasons for the project, that the album was made with love, with the best materials outside, etc, etc, it's your job, and respect that.
also respect miss palmer music and person, not the way that things are being made.

PS. I am getting the digital download but someone lost the 20 dollars i would give for the cd.
also, Congratulations for the 110,000+ pledged!

I'm not buyimg this one (yet) because JSR fucked up my last order and I have about 50 bucks flying over the internet. I really want to listen to the Goes Down Under album, It's been almost 3 months since I ordered the record.

thanks Len, also, it's important to express a manifesto in an open forum like this, seriously, as I am and always be a follower of the dresden dolls and ap music, my point of view represents the point of view of many people, you (ap team) can use it to improve the way you are being watched by the fans and not fans (as we saw on the recent "who likes amanda palmer?" article), and the way that amanda palmer is being watched with her new releases.
