OK, here we go - if you'd like to participate, the rules are simple:

pick 8 at-least-somewhat-famous people who you think will expire in 2008.

No "world's oldest man/woman" bullshit.

Celebrities/notable people on life support as of 12/31/07 are eligible.

deadline for entry is whenever I first log in on January 1st, 2008...probably noon-ish, Eastern Time Zone in the US (GMT -5).

There will be some sort of prize for the winner. Prize yet to be determined. In the event of a tie between 2 entrants, a coin flip will determine the winner. In the event of a tie between more than 2 entrants, a name will be drawn from a hat. Or some shit like that.

Perhaps a designated "dark horse" as a tiebreaker?
That is, someone young and in good health, in a non-hazardous profession.
Make that worth 1.1 "right answers". (That is, all other things being equal,
get this one right and you win.)
