Different versions of "A is for Accident"
« on: July 23, 2007, 04:01:39 AM »

First off, my sincere apologies if this isn't the appropriate place to put this message or if this is obviously covered somewhere else, but I looked around both on here and throughout the net and couldn't really find a satisfactory answer.

I bought a copy of "A is for Accident" at the first NIN/Chicago show back in 2005 but it was the 8ft. version.  I've been wanting to get a copy of the Important version for a while but it's usually a bit pricey when it pops up on eBay.  Anyway, I've noticed that there are a couple different cover photos of this version floating around and the only one I've actually seen is packaged in a cardboard sleeve but it seems like I've also seen a jewelbox version of the Important release as well.  I guess my very long-winded and poorly worded question is "how many versions of this damn thing are there?"

Thank you very much.  I've been wanting to check this board out for a long time but haven't for several reasons... regardless, I'm here now and I like what you've done with the place.

I know three versions (2x Important Records & 1x 8ft. Records). The releases on 'Important Records' are packed in a cardboard sleeve and never have seen them in a jewel case.

That must be hard to fit in the CD player.

This isn't the oooooh bit nippy out, better get my cardie, watch out not to get cats and/or dogs on your head, the queen wears wellies, anyone fancy a cuppa UK, Kenny, this is the US of triumphant (hah! 3rd time!) A, where every crackhead can run for president and the cd-players are the size of houses. That's why you always should check your cd-player for homeless people first, in the US of triumphant A.

Check for homeless people and hit the eject button!

Actually, you made a fourth triumphant, and technically that triumphant I just wrote was the fifth, although if you're really counting that was the sixth.

Sorry Lost Dave, who'd have thought the dutchy could turn an A is for Accident thread into a political manifesto?

Well, I figured after you changed the thread into a standup comedy show, I'd add some depth to the discussion. And heigth.

If I ever move to the US of triumphant A, I'ma gonna live in an ipod!

I question, why does amanda use cardboard? does she really like cutting down more trees? no i'm kidding. If I ever made a CD I'd want cardboard too, well whichever is cheaper. but still, why does she use cardboard for?
