Anyone else think it sounds like she says "fierceful" instead of forceful in the fourth stanza? What an excellent new word to describe Amanda. Also love the rhyming of Jacques Brel and Neutral Milk Hotel.

Hey all, there were some questions about how to play this song on the blog so I posted this: 

To my ear the chords would be:  C, C7, F, Gsus4, G for the verses and then F, G, C, F, F, G, C7 for the bridge.  The studio version seems to be in B so tune down a half-step if you want to play along to that.  Here's a chart with all those chord shapes, you should be able to figure out the timing by listening to the track:
