tickets are sold out for the last performance,
might call and see what their policy for
letting people in last minute
there are almost always people who don't show

they will be touring elsewhere with it,
i'll post that in a day or so

for those of you who are going:

  • unless you want to watch the piano player,
sit in the first row center
    audience right,
i.e. further in from the door,
just shy of the 2nd aisle

get there early to get these seats,
    maybe 30 minutes

  • the piano player is just as you enter the theatre
(i love to watch musicians play,
    and watch their hands,
and this one was very good,
    but i glad i sat where i did}

  • if you are around six feet,
    dress  outlandishly,
    so you will be noticed

the freak du jour for my performance was
in black with silver spider web on half of
    his tailored long sleeve t-shirt
    and a rainbow spiky mohawk

a friend recommended this to me a few
hours before amanda posted it here,
so with the high five from two fellow theatre freaks,
i did one of my last minuter chinatown bus round trips,
boston to nyc

very well worth it

hayley,

it's very hard for me to review performance.
a static work of art like your paintings,
can be examined carefully over time

a piece of theatre is 1,000s of impressions
picking and choosing what to share
is an art work in itself

compare the theatre reviews in the ny times
to the fine art reviews
even the professionals have a hard time!

did anyone else go?

maybe someone else can get me/us started?

as an alternative, i will offer their web sight
which gives one a good sampling of the
diversity, strangeness, and weirdness that is their art

if you click on Future Shows on their
home page at the bottom center right
you'll find they will be in Korea, South Carolina,
Singapore, and several cities in Australia
