In addition to putting a bunch of posters up today I also made some youtube vids to advertise the upcoming adelaide show :)

I will get the photos of the posters up as soon as I can work out how to put them up xx

Any help is always welcome!!! You'll find all the posters/flyers in the first page of this thread. If you can print some off and hang them up/hand them out and take photos and post them here, then send me your details down.under.street.team(at)gmail.com any online promo is also great so tweeting/facebooking/blogging about the gig and screen shot it and again post it here.

Thanks!!!

Put up some Dresden Dolls posters for today

Pulp Kitchen, Melbourne Central

Dangerfield, Melbourne Central

The Games Lab, Bourke St (surprisingly, we dropped off some fliers there a few weeks ago, it was all taken! Left 3 posters with them, here was one of them)

Polyester Records, Flinders Lane

http://leishkin.blogspot.com/2012/01/my-name-is-aleisha-and-i-am-addict.html

not everyone can probably see this but I can't friggen do screencaps on this computer. NARGHFAIL. Why do i leave things til the last minute? Anyway KaH, I know you can see my facebook!

Oh hey. i took photos with my phone. they're shit, but they get the point across...

Anyway. that's my weak effort. bombarding the internets and inviting everyone to the facebook events!

Just my hoorah (or as Mikelangelo likes to hear, HOORAY!) for the Melbourne show this Sunday on Facebook

Will be putting posters tomorrow around the Brunswick St/Smith St area, don't want to let my last remaining posters go to waste :)

Eeeeek! Sorry, things have been hectic! Been so busy doing stuff, i've been forgetting to PROVE I'M DOING STUFF!  :D

OK. SO. Flash Mob. Obviously there was much Facebook and Twittering going down. I tweeted Amanda about it a few times, and also had contact with Fed Square to organise the legalities of it all:

I also wrote a whole bunch of chord charts for the potential uke-army. Posted them on both the Melbourne FB page, and on the Punk Cabaret Army page so the other cities could use them if they wanted. All PDF's still available for download...

Coin Operated Boy: http://www.mediafire.com/?nbd1v1c475krhh6

Mandy Goes to Med School: http://www.mediafire.com/?g2ba8ue1k06wb83

My Alcoholic Friends: http://www.mediafire.com/?uzym8l26s1a62t8

Sing: http://www.mediafire.com/?1y2cdo8fi84tdy3

On the day of the Melbourne Flash Mob, I played Uke so hard I bled from every finger on my right hand. I hope that counts for something.

Also, as we weren't allowed to be handing out flyers in Fed Square, I made a whole bunch of "promo flowers" inspired by the lyrics "but I give out flowers to curious strangers" etc from Glass Slipper. However, the day was so exciting and hectic, they kind of got forgotten in my bag. But I have a feeling they will were saving themselves to be distributed at a more appropriate time!

Also got a KILLER T-SHIRT made of one of the posters for the Flash Mob, and have basically been wearing it non-stop ever since - even in Byron Bay, NSW! If you want one, I can STRONGLY recommend http://www.speedytees.com.au/ - cost me $30 including express postage, I had it in 1 day and the quality of the tshirt is excellent!

Stupid Australia Post lost the whole pile of posters Karina sent me, but luckily Guy came to rescue and printed some for us, which I picked up at distributed to other street teamers before I went away. Got a couple up in Melbourne CBD on Saturday morning when I got home. Tried to target the alternative places I shop at:

Wildilocks Gothic Hair Salon on McKillop St

Blasphemy on Elizabeth St

Peril Underground off Elizabeth St

Smoke Dreams on Flinders St

Got a couple more left to get up this week when everywhere reopens!

Also started blogging again (as part of a New Year's resolution) and had a big of a rant about Amanda and the Dolls. Please feel free to follow me - it's gonna be an epic year!

Other general social network ramblings:

AND! (last thing, I promise)

Rob Cliff, Lisa Lehne and I made this little unofficial promo video. We mostly did it cos we wanted another excuse to wear white facepaint and exhibit ourselves as 1920's mimes. But hey, it floats our boat! Check it here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0gOdvU69Xw&feature=colike

I think that's about the bulk of it. See ya'll at the show!!! <3
