Some Twitter @replies regarding slow Adelaide sales (and later, with Venuetix being annoying and saying the show is sold out - it's not).

And I thought I should mention that I've seen lots of posters around Adelaide in cafe and pub windows and on announcement boards in the CBD area, which is fabulous! I've only just come back from a stint interstate and it was great to see - kudos to whoever's done it :)

Cheers! I'm glad most of them are still up! I've heard the ones on the street piano we're removed, which is kind of fair enough, but a fun advertising stunt lol

Yeah, there were heaps (was trying to figure out where's left to poster!). And Fringe posters are now going up, so it's good that you got in early :)

I just got back from the Perth flash mob which I helped organise! Thanks everyone who was involved, had an awesome day.

Photos were way to massive to pot on here so if you want to see then then just clicky the links!

We sung and played our hearts out...

And then we traversed around the city with our voices.

We handed out flyers to interested (and some-what surprised) randoms

Then we split up for poster runs!

And a mailbox run!!

this is behalf of Sven "Svenstication" I am posting it as he kept getting an error message when he tried

WOOO! Fun (mostly legal) promotion times!

Okay, SO... Besides posting AFP/DDolls stuff INCESSANTLY...

And changing my profile pic to the poster:

I plugged the concert on my tumblr:

http://thismachinemildlyannoysfascists.tumblr.com/

Organised (with Jake) the Perth Street Team:

http://www.facebook.com/events/101632269955795/  (stay tuned for pics/vids)

AND ran around the city/other places with posters/flyers. Some shops let me put up posters, give them flyers, others did not. Otherwise I just harrassed strangers and got photos of them holding the posters:

Grocery store. (Wouldn't let me put up the poster)

Chemist (also wouldn't let me, but I may have convinced this lady to come...)

A chap with a hat (to whom I spread the word of Punk Cabaret)

DANGERFIELD! YAY! Let me put it up. ^_^

The Pagoda Tree: Home & Gift Emporium (in Claremont). Awesome shop, awesome lady. Let me put it up. <3

Zenith's Music let me put it up. (I thought next to the ukes would be fitting...)

Up on the wall at The Claremont Hotel.

Transperth endorses this band!

...The Big Issue does not. (I did not buy his paper...)

This guy did. (I DID buy HIS paper.)

Off Ya Tree put the poster up AND took a bunch of flyer for their shop. HOORAY!

The lady at another Dangerfield (who already had her ticket) let me tape it to the desk.

Ummm... I THINK this is legal...

At the comic book store: "Can I put up a poster for a concert up in your shop?" "Does it have anything to do with science fiction or fantasy?" "The lead singer is married to Neil Gaiman." "Ah.. Well, that IS a rather significant connection..."

More randoms posing with my poster at a Locksmith. Maybe they'll come...

My brother blue-steeling with a poster I put up at MYER. His current lack of eyebrows is due to his passing out at a party.

Bumped into some friends in the city. LOOK HOW EXCITED THEY ARE!!!

ALSO, I contacted Hayley Rosenblum (of Team Amanda Palmer) and got her permission for my friends' online radio channel 'Soup For One' (You should check it out) to play AFP/DDolls/8in8/Evev, etc, for promotion. I'm not sure if they have played the music yet, however.

HAPPY DAYS!!!

These are on behalf of Dylan

The hairdressing saloon "La Biosthetique @ Soignee" allowed us to put some flyers on their store counter and a poster in their window.

A poster at the University of Western Sydney community noticeboard, as well as some flyers in their gallery at the entrance and a poster there also.

Richmond Records allowed us to hang a poster in store.

Have a suggestion as to an asset which would help you promote? Let us know, leave a comment below!!

Would it be possible to get a poster that includes all the New Zealand gigs on the single poster?  I'm not in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, but a lot of people are on holiday right now and are in my resort town and they may be here from one of the cities, or else be traveling on to one of the cities.
