One of the girls I work with has just put photos up of her trip to Ihanda with work. And I'm uber jealous, it looked awesome! But at the same time, I'm real pleased for her coz she worked hard to win the trip.

They're in there gettin' busy with some guy who looks like Christian Slater (about 20 years ago)
that they bumped into coming out of a coffee shop the other day....

update: at 11:43pm the curtains twitched and the fat woman who lives there looked down at the street for a moment, saw me watching her while doing dishes and then went back into her mystery flat of mystery

There are people moving into the house next door.
I wonder if they'll be more social than the last two sets of neighbours.
Also, I wonder when the people who brought the house next door to that one will move in.

Plans canceled, yet re-scheduled. So though I am disappointed, I don't feel ditched. We both have uber plans this weekend (him: secret male society, me: earth day in yosemite)...so we're doing something on Tuesday.
We're also going to a birthday party on Thursday.

Now to do art and pretend I have a life outside of beard land. Mm beard.  :tongue7:

I finally got off my ass and went into town to buy Epica's latest album.
And I got the flawed version :(
I kinda expected that I was going to, but it was still a little disappointing.

What makes it flawed?

What makes it flawed?

When they put together the master, they accidently put on an instrumental version with choirs and backing vocals of the closing track, rather than the one with lead vocals.
As soon as they realised, the label put out a download for the vocal version.
Even though the song is still epic, it's even better with the vocals.
