Who owns the 215 million guns in America’s households? And
why do they own them? Those are the questions photographer Kyle
Cassidy set out to answer in his book, Armed America: Portraits of Gun
Owners in Their Homes, an Amazon.com “Best 100 Books of 2007.” At
the lecture, which is sponsored by the Harvard Extension School’s
journalism program, Cassidy will display his photographs and discuss
this fascinating project. The lecture is open to all members of the
