I don't know. I have noticed that picture discs often have a significantly lower sound quality. is that just me or is that a real thing?

sorry, totally off-topic. although I repeat: vinyl please.

I'm awaiting the songbook, hm, although it's dissappointing that there won't be sheet music for Glass Slipper etc XP

I'm wondering if the Virginia companion is going to have both albums or they'll be seperate (I assume there will be more pages than the first companion).

I'm pretty sure Amanda said it would have both Yes and No in one of her blogs.

i've just read through all the posts on this thread.

frankly, i'm just happy that the dolls are releasing something. i don't care if ive heard versions of the songs before, as i won't have heard what's actually on the CD.

we have the actual tracklist, we have our ideal tracklists, and there's not much point in pushing for other songs to be recorded/released/whatever--the dolls have the right to put what they want on the records.

I don't get how people can even be unhappy with the track list. I don't understand why previously released stuff should be recorded, we've already got good recordings! Now lets wait for new stuff instead of anticipating re-recordings of old stuff that we're so fond of already.

It just feels so much easier to look foward to something new when you don't constantly have that "Ooh I hope Kaledrina/Ultima Esperanza/Glass Slipper/fucking echo gallery (lol)/etc. will be on the next studio album!!1!" on your mind.

But, I agree, there are songs that will never be done, and as crazy as that makes me, I'll get over it...but I'm sure that by the 23rd dolls album in 2034 I'll still be like "come on The time has come!!" with fingers crossed.

I agree with this entirely. I think No, Virginia is kind of an "out with the old" album--and after that they may want to concentrate on new things.
This is another reason why i'm no longer interested in unshared songs--if there's a chance they could be on a forthcoming album, i DON'T want to listen to them. I remember how excited I was when my Dolls albums arrived. Out of all songs on both albums, I had heard 2.
I want to learn to love any new songs in the format they were released in, and live when I see it with my own eyes.
Basically i'm scared of ruining things for myself.

but i'm so happy with the tracklisting!!!

I'm really happy with the tracklist. (Although I'm going to be happier with WKAP, I think...)

Well, I am definitely excited.
Any new stuff from the Dolls are indeed welcome. I don't care if it's new or b-sides or whatever; the point is I will have a new disc to listen to in my car.
Be happy people. They can do whatever they want. They're artists. Please try and chill out. 8)
