I guess they can start an auction if you get into contact with them.

OK will the people who know how to do things etc help me out as I really want to find this a home and I kind of feel it should go to someone who actually knows what it is but also make some money for a charity that Amanda and/or Neil support......

I agree. Sell it, keep the cash, and if you feel super-generous then give what you can spare to a charity of your own choice.

Compromise, give it to a charity YOU support instead? Also, I think I said this on facebook, but truly lovely sculpture :D I actually had to squint at it and think "he didn't actually carve this out of vegemite, right? How is it staying up?!" for a second.

This is amazing. I've had the unfortunate combat with The Black Death myself (though, I'll admit, it was my own fault, because I was genuinely curious on how bad it ACTUALLY was). It strikes the heart, it does, brings back the memories of how evil the substance truly is. I have to say though, I feel a bit bad for this Vege-creature: I'm sure he's quite lonely, being his, er, substance. xD

I remember seeing this but did not know it had gone on auction! It's beautiful.

...but you're all wrong. Vegemite is amazing. Next week I'm dressing up as a jar of it and smearing Amanda's lyrics on myself with the stuff.

Is that too far?

...might be too far.

This may be a bit late (hey, I'm new to the 'Box), but that is a pretty awesome sculpture.
Did you use any Vegemite in it?

... If I was anywhere near as skilled as you, I'd make a replica of your sculpture out of Vegemite and maybe like, cheese and Weetbix. Then eat it. For some kind of weird Performance Art.
