I love love it, its powerful and the introduction is nice, as opposed to the other songs of that session that started and ended abruptly. Bam, bam, bam, right out of the gate, I prefer songs with a climax, and The Kill has one.
Having said that I'm sad to hear how edited it is, I know it has many versions, but some of my favorite lines are gone.
"...an alcoholic" at the end of the first verse really set the feel and made it more confessional, rather than "...an accidental" which seems to pack less of a punch.
This one made me wonder if it was edited out of something like political correctness, altho I don't think Amanda gives a fuck about being P.C. but still the line "I am...a terrorist" which I thought was so poignant and striking and I was surprised it was gone. Lastly, I miss the ending, I was really attached and looked forward to the swaying "ahhhhh's" with just the vocal to end it.
What thinks you?
