Amanda and her Inspirational Ukulele - Caricature

Hiya, I'm pretty new to Amanda Palmers work and I'm slowly working my way through the Dresden Dolls catalogue, I'm so inspired and fired up whenever I read a blog entry or see their vids, I so want her/them to come to the UK again. :D

Anyway, I do caricatures and wanted to practice my digital painting and Amanda knows how to give good face...




So here's a caricature of Amanda that I painted in Photoshop.  Ta for looking and I welcome any feedback :)

Edit: going to do Neil Gaiman and Brian Viglione too, I'll post them here when I've done em x

Thanks too everyone else for the lovely comments :D

I totally got into painting the uke, I have a fondness for old instruments, they have their own unique personalities.  :headbang:

bec I got into digital painting about 5 years ago and I found www.conceptart.org to be the only site worth going to for advice and comments and critique. I set up a sketchbook and joined a sketchbook support group with members from all over the world that have helped me so much, anyhoo, I totally recommend it. :)
