'stinky-pants' commentor then says something about the other party's mom, and a short scuffle ensues.....

The teacher, will then break you up and make you sit in opposite corners of the room while the other
children go outside for recess.

Let's skip all that and go on to the part where each of you says "he started it" and attempts to rationalise
and reiterate your original points that:

1. We have a spam problem.

-and-

2. It isn't being addressed as comprehensively as some would like

-but-

3. It IS being addressed...  even if it's not at the top of our
   hostess' (and her staff's) priorities & expenditures list.

-and-

4. Since most of us are not privy to the nature of that list,
   arguing about it probably doesn't make a lot of sense.

You're right, with the exception of the spambots, only your accounts are your business. N.U. might be annoying the crap out of you but telling everyone that you're tempted to delete his account? That isn't cool.

FWIW - you both could have stopped the back and forth on this a couple of pages ago but NEITHER of you did. You've kept this going just as much as N.U. has. So why should we take sides? If anything his posts are pretty consistent, he wasn't the one who posted the very mature pyramid of whine a few pages back.

You know you're never going to change each other's minds. So why bother? None of this fixes the problems the box is having.
