Flyering
« on: April 28, 2008, 02:31:06 PM »

It occurred to me that us fan-types will probably want to hand out flyers; I know there were some 'stand-by' designs on the old website floating around, but does anyone want to make a kind of signature design(s) for the SW tour? It might be neat to advertise both the show and the brigade, calling for performers, especially in areas with a low-key performance art scene. At least this can be a place to show off unique posters you make for your local show.
Also, tips from veteran flyers? Best places to hang flyers, how soon before the show to post them, what size, color scheme, typeface etc. is eye-catching, information to include etc.

Even if you do not want to design your own. An email went out to the street team today and if you are in an area where a show will take place and want to hang up flyers email Jenny and let her know you are interested!
