I thought this was some kind of fundraiser for the Dresden Dolls.

I will!

Maybe I never mentioned it, but I saw you at the Orpheum in December and was on my way to  introduce myself, but my date sort of hastened me away :-\ .

This sounds super cute and I kind of want to go...this would have been my mum's mother's day gift if i could have afforded it...

It looks like my friend for tonight is flaking on me.  I'll try to email Gigi and see if they can resell the extra, but if someone here wants to go and didn't get a ticket saved yet, and can meet me in Lexington this evening with $60 cash in hand, let me know by PM.  I'm about to be taken on mother's day picnic, so it will be a bit before I reply.

This sounds super cute and I kind of want to go...this would have been my mum's mother's day gift if i could have afforded it...

it was super cute and a great time
the shows at small venues are often the best
and amanda in her home town, with some of her favorite teachers ...

e.g there was one point in one song,
where amanda stopped and said
brian always saids amanda about now
the way my mom does
often, so only i hear it,
and it cracks me up
brian proceeded to say 'amanda'
in his best mom voice ...

... amanda cracks up ...

... then from the back of the room,
came 'amada' from her mom ...

... amanda and brian both crack up worse!

brian was close, but needs more lessons

unless someone beats me to it,
i'll try to post a set list and a review in a few days
reader beware

I'll take him on. I do awesome impressions of my friend's moms.

I need to meet this lady first, then I will be able to assess the situation, and produce an adequate vocal impersonation.

Is that your real surname, Katie?  'Cause if it is, we might be related....

Actually Szczypinski is kind of like "Smith" in some parts of Poland.
