Inspiring performances!
« on: May 06, 2008, 02:51:04 AM »

Disclaimer: So I realize this is not directly related to Brigading for the Dolls, & I have posted it under Everything Else, but I found some very inspirational elements in this show that apply to elements of brigading.  You may think it impossible to recreate, what with all the hi-tech equipment they're utilizing for the show, & you're right, but I just wanted to plant the seed in curious people's heads to get them thinking about more creative ways to do performance art & share a unique experience with others. I hope this inspires you to try new approaches to things, and to seek new levels of expression when performing.

I find James Thiérrée's work very inspiring.

If you ever get the chance to see one of his productions GO GO GO.

From what I've heard, the Argentinian circus scene is pulsing.
