This new box is soooo different. Well maybe not but its confusing. I feel like a newbie on a forum that I had been on for like a year.

I decided that I REALLY like the new 'box now.

Lots of nice new featuresbut for some reason, I tend to think the new messageboard is kinda hard to overview... I'm aware it has the same structure as the old one... maybe it's just because suddenly there are so many posts.

But what maybe also leads to this impression is that
the deep blue "new"-gifs kinda distract
my view from the threads'
titles. Yep - I  
feel those really  
are eye-catchers
in the wrong place.


Those coloured white or something might be cool.

Rob started that fight thread, and he chose the face.  You'll see, when you go to start a thread.  You can either put those page-looking thingies that are to the left of most of them, or you can choose an emoticon.

if you like the locations back, you can ask billh to do so by creating a topic in the Questions, Complaints, Suggestions forum

i like having the locations too

I copied your suggestion, and made it a thread in the forum Lentower just mentioned.

on a post page, you just use the Message icon: popup menu to set it
it's right under the Subject: text entry field

you can also put them on replies - i switched to a "lamp" for this reply

Don't even bother figuring out how to transfer the old forum data to the new script, I see how it is, trying to erase my historic and ingenious contributions eh?  Well you're not getting rid of me that easily, except fuck you guys, I'm going back to the PB Board.
