Don't even bother figuring out how to transfer the old forum data to the new script, I see how it is, trying to erase my historic and ingenious contributions eh?  Well you're not getting rid of me that easily, except fuck you guys, I'm going back to the PB Board.

so much easier to just use a URL
http://www.theshadowbox.net/ddbb/

of course, if you have a zillion dollars you want to use to pay to have the database conversion done,
billh might be willing to consider it

sometimes i am slow

Some chick called Mimecwi on the old box was making a nuisance of herself so we all made a run for the door.

It worked. We escaped her.

Or one could go download the converter provided by Simple Machines on their website, but I've already stopped caring.

it does not work 100% properly. you lose A LOT of data. believe me.

is better re-starting it.

i like it but i fucking hate the search engine. you literally have to type in the topic you're looking for in exactness. (ex) when i was looking for a thread i typed in "hated/disliked dresden dolls song" it found NOTHING. OOOOHH I have to put in capitals. FUCK. and when i went looking for this thread i typed in "new box" and found nothing as well. so I basically have to put everything in exactness. there's no such thing as keywords cuz it'll search you up some random shit. or maybe I'm just computer illiterate.

I dig that you can delete and lock your own threads on this forum.

I don't.  I enjoy the terrible permanency of things.  It's real life; you put it out there, you deal with the consequences.  There were good threads on the old box that resulted in great conversation from the rest of us, with the initiator slinking around and whining, "I should have never made this thread."
