Ok, so I randomly tossed out a Tweet intended to provoke a response from my meatspace friends from the hacker realm who are Defcon attendees and AFP fans.  I got several responses from folks I've almost definitely seen around if they've been to Defcon since 1999 and have probably partied with, since I've been attending/helping to throw Ninja Networks parties since then, too, and none from the meatspace mofos.

I would absolutely LOVE to get AFP to Defcon.  I can think of a few possible venues away from con that would kick ass and be suitable for a private party.  The problem here is that, as mentioned several times in the FAQ, we'd be really lucky if our specific dates are doable for AFP's schedule. 

Given official Defcon events and the general flow of con, I think either Thursday July 26th or Sunday July 29th would be ideal. 

AFP, can we seduce you with the thought of spending a weekend with thousands of drunken hackers?  I'll personally hook you up with access to the conference and my services as guide and interpreter, if we can all make this house party thing happen then and there.
