Waterfire
« on: May 23, 2008, 01:23:47 AM »

Anyone else performing at Waterfire this summer?

Since the tour's on the West Coast this year, I know I'll need to get out some of my energy there this summer.

Not til I have money. I need makeup & a new costume. I need a new entire idea, actually.

Note: But I do plan to make little somethings for those who are statuing!! I may not be able to tip money, but little gifts are fun.

Gifts are just as great, and more thoughtful. At the Orpheum in January, someone gave out little bags of Hershey Kisses. It was adorable.

gifts are the least one can do for those brigading at d.dolls shows,
or statuing anywhere

thanking artists,
with more than words,
is a very cool thing to do

Keep in mind, Waterfire is not the Brigade. When you perform, respect the personal space of other performers. It's getting pretty dense down there, and the veteran performers can get a bit ornery when new acts encroach. It is also the general consensus that it is in everyone's best interest to keep the quality level of performance to a very high standard.
