My other mommy was taken to the ER yesterday. Her blood values were down because of the chemo, which caused some infections and a pretty bad fever... now we can only visit her if we wear masks and gloves. And I can't visit her, because I have a cough    it's kind of scary...

Aw, Annebelle. I hope everything will be okay. I will keep her in my thoughts. I agree with Johnny. It can be such a necessary evil. My gram went through chemo and it made her dementia worse, but it got rid of the cancer. -massive hugs-

That's horrible, Chemo is a harsh necessary evil, my mum has also had chemo and she has to be very careful too.
Just try to lose the cough quickly I suppose. Here if you need me.

We have a new niece (which is good and not at all day ruining). Her name is Harper and she is very cute.

She came home from hospital last week but wasn't feeding very well so my brother and sister in law took her to the hospital on Sunday, she was admitted and now it looks like there could be something wrong with her brain. She is being transferred to a hospital with baby ICU today.
It looks similar to what Ruby had.
I really, really hope it is something else. Preferably a mistake and she's perfectly fine but if not a mistake then I really hope it is something fixable.

Fine, from now on all students are numbers and walking paychecks to the uni.

Some of you may recall that, back in January, my old boss advertised a vacancy at my old
job - full-time, reasonable pay...  and not only did she not hire me, she took a month even
to send a poorly-composed form email rejection.... [The woman being fully aware that I've
been looking for over two YEARS...]

I found a part-time spot (about 15 hours a week, and barely more than minimum wage) at
the place I'd worked before working for her.... and in the course of that job I had to go by
her shop to pick up some merchandise.   

...and she was all "HIIIIIII  How are you?  Oh you're back over there!  That's so nice!....."
and on and on and such shit like she hadn't completely screwed me... 

I managed to keep my strictly-business face on and just not say anything, but I'm really not
sure if she's just trying to be happy-face or if she truly fails to grasp the degree to which she
utterly screwed me over here.....

Okay, it didn't ruin my day at all, but it inconvenienced it. My teacher, who is cool but I often must complain about, told us to come in today at 10 to start planning our exhibition. We got there, she said "it'll be anytime after 11, I have a meeting". At about 11.30 she said it'd be about 12 since she had another meeting. She asked me and two others to count the frames downstairs that display last years' students work and how many students there were & pick a piece to go into the frame (we didn't do any of this). At 12, she said they were too small (which we've all been saying since the start of the year) so they'll order some in from IKEA and we'll come in next week from 10-4 to put them together. Waste of time. One guy had been there since 9 and went home when we told him it'd be after 11, just as well he did.

((This also made me day though since I just sat around with a load of folks from my class having a chat and a laugh ))
