Thanks for the replies! I definitely got over the relationship, except we've been trying to do the whole "let's stay friends" thing, since we see each other at school everyday. It's been working pretty well, till now...the friends kind of laughed it off and are now pretending it never happened. Ah well.

I'm STILL fucking sick. I think I'm about 4 more intense coughing fits away from giving myself a hernia... it hurts so bad. My boss sent me home from work today under strict instruction that I see a doctor, because she thought my cough sounded like that of a person with pneumonia. The doctor literally looked at me for 3 minutes, wherein she took my temperature (surprise surprise, I had a fever), listened to my chest, gave me a prescription for antibiotics and wrote me a medical letter excusing me from work for 2 days. And that cost me $50. She's... efficient.

Best part is... I can't take tomorrow off work because it's only me and another person working, and there's no way in hell she can harvest 32 blood samples by herself. So I plan to just dose myself up on drugs.

Woke up with a hammering ache in my right ear and a sore troat  my head feels like it's about to blow up. so i'm curious if it's common cold or otitis or something but i don't want to see a doctor as i already have to take lots of pills and inhaler. i hate to be under the necessity of any kind of drug treatments.

My leg is a bit swollen in the ankle area because I accidentally put weight on it last night, more than I should have. It sucks because now I can't do my exercises right away and will have to keep my ankle iced until the swelling goes down.

My grandma died. Don't really know how to react. My dad keeps asking if I want to talk about it, which I don't and I think means *he* wants to talk about it, but I don't know what to say so I can't.

Thank you, sweethearts. Feeling very very strange at the minute. "Bewildered" might be the word. Just went out for a smoke and ended up sitting there pretty much chain-smoking for about half an hour trying to figure out how I feel. I dunno. Shaken up, really. My other grandparents all died either when I was little or before I was born, so this is the first time of having to deal with it really. Like, we weren't that close - she lived in Bath when I was younger, and then moved up to Scotland a few years ago, and Dad isn't a big one for visiting family and stuff, so the last time I saw her was... God, I can't even remember exactly. Last year, perhaps? And like I don't feel bad about it, like I don't feel guilty or whatever, but it's strange knowing that I know so little about her and now she's gone. I dunno. Thank you all for being so kind though - I think it makes all the difference, having people out there to talk to and support you or whatever. I dunno.

this morning, my alarm did not go off, i mustn't have set it properly. my mum rang me to see if i was awake and ready to leave for work and i had a go at her because i set an alarm, paying no attention to the fact that my bus would leave the train station in under 20 minutes. i paniced, i scared the shit out of my sister, running into her room screaming, she thought someone had broken in or something :S
so, i sprinted to the bus stop in the shorts and singlet i wore to bed, with a broken toe that hurts like mad (my mum and i had a big fight a week ago and she scraped my toe under my bedroom door when she opened it on my, accidentally...) whenever i put my foot down and an inflammation problem in my ribs. Cried to mum (and thanked her) on the phone whilst i was running to the station No breakfast or anything oh well at least i brushed my teeth.....? and i wasn't late to work.
but FUCK. MY TOE HURTS D:
glad tomorrow is my birthday, it'll make me feel better .

Lots of hugs and condolences to you, Indja. I lost both my grandmothers in high school and it's never easy to talk about ... death never is. When you feel ready, you can talk to him but don't feel like you have to be forced into it.<3
