Aw, I like Edgar Allan Poe...he was all dark and brooding and wrote some pretty amazing stories! but understandably he's not everyone's cup of tea.

Facebook ruined my morning, because I saw a status made by an ex for his new boyfriend. And though we're on good terms and we talk, and I'm seeing someone else who I like very much, it still hurts. I talk a lot about the guy I'm dating to him and he never tells me it's hurting him. If I knew it was I wouldnt talk so much. Instead I see this status as a way of getting back at me for it.

I talk a lot about the guy I'm dating to him and he never tells me it's hurting him. If I knew it was I wouldnt talk so much. Instead I see this status as a way of getting back at me for it.

I had a similar thing a few days ago. My ex of nearly a year now just recently announced his new relationship, with his old flatmate no less, who we fought about early in our relationship because I found out he secretly liked her. And it seems he liked her all through our 2 year relationship. (We broke up for other reasons but it seems obvious she was partly the reason and I had no idea.) And I saw them walking together hand in hand yesterday just as I was getting a bus in the other direction. Even though I don't want him back in any way, it does still hurt. He was my first love and all, but it wouldn't hurt if it was some other girl. It's because it's THIS one. Fuck. I hate them, I really do. It just sucks a little more since I'm a little socially awkward and single, people seem to pity me...rant rant. ¬¬

February 1st means my birthday's in a few days, which would be awesome except my pool of IRL friends and family are busy/out of town/injured/live out of state/etc. and we won't be doing anything for my birthday. It usually gets pissed on by Valentine's Day anyway, but I've been single now for *cough* and haven't even gotten that holiday in a long time. I tried to remember the last holiday I even celebrated and I'm pretty sure I went to a New Year's party to welcome in 2009. I think. It's really boring and pointless. This whole thing got started because I realized how down I was about it and figured I'd actually plan something but when it got to a guest list and there wasn't anyone on it...yeah. My best friend was remembering to me something we did last year for my birthday, but that was the year that he was too busy to get together at all because of his marching in a winterguard. It just wasn't worth arguing with him, though.

fuck fuck fuck fuck. I dunno. My dad just left. I dunno if he's coming back, or when. He wouldn't say where he was going.It's my fucking brother. Everything is my fucking brothers fault. He treats dad like shit, he's a rude cunt who thinks he  can do what he wants with no consequences, and he pushes and pushes and pushes. Mum doesn't see it because when she's round he's a saint, so Mum doesn't back him up as much as she should because he does tend to overreact sometimes, but still. Apparently my brother said something that pushed him over the edge, while I was at work, and I got home, and he was yelling at him, and the mum got home, and she didn't get it, and dad got more pissed, and came storming in, packed a bag, and left, saying he'll be collecting his stuff during the week. I dunno what to do. I'm kinda scared, and worried, because when he's angry he drives fast, and it's wet outside. Fuck.
