I want to use "Ursula" as a middle name for one of my babies, but Seamy says it's a car-crash of a name. He is a little bitch. He also wants them to have his last name, which is absurd, because his last name is stupid and besides, they're more my babies than they are his - I get to carry them around for nine whole months before he even meets them. *And* I bought him pizza tonight, you'd think he'd be a bit more generous about this. What a cow.

Ursula like the evil witch in the Little Mermaid?

Exactly xD Though I was thinking more "little she-bear" than "evil octopus", tbh ;)
How about "Honoria"?   :)
You're silly.
Frequently.

Nevertheless, it is a kick-ass name, innit?

It's pretty cool, but I doubt he'll go for it xD
Present is this way:

Honey, should we name our daughter Ursula, or Honoria?
Make in either/or, but if you're smooth about it, you can make him think he has a choice...

Sadly, I have abused my power of veto to the extent that he now believes he also gets to veto things. It's a little sad. Besides, I only want Ursula as a middle name, it's not that important. I'm more upset about the surnames, tbh.
See, that's the brilliant part:
It's no longer a yes/no question, so the veto can't be used.
Now it's an either/or proposition, and he HAS to choose one....

But it's not like there's any big rush, since you're not having kids til after grad school...
maybe even after you get your first doctorate...  Right?

I was about to say Ursula - the evil character in Mermaid LOL. Well now that it's been told, i'll say Ursula Buffay. The porn-star twin of Phoebe Buffay of Friends  ;D The only Ursula i like is, Ursula K. Le Guin.

My cousine is being an asshole.
He borrowed some books from me though i told him i haven't read them yet. And i was thinking about reading them just when i finish the Hobbit.
He didn't mind and borrowed them anyway, now he keeps giving spoilers. And he's a real slow reader, i guess by the time he finishes these books i'll learn everything about the stories.
He's behaving like a 5 year old, what a douchebag.

Genius! And while I don't intend to have babies until at least my Master's is done, it pays to be prepared. And you'd be surprised how big a huff eeither one of us can have over the naming of our imaginary babies xD

I was planning on going out tonight but my body is all like "LOL NO" and I've been sneezing for two days. I get so few chances to go out when other people are going out, and I just wanted to have a nice night. I'm just so sick of having to put everything aside for responsibilities and I get that that's part of being an adult but even adults get days off. Or nights.

My cell phone, given by the company i work for, is Vodafone too. Mine has a problem with receiving the texts. People keep asking me why i didn't answer their texts, it really sucks  :-\ 3g services are also sickening.

Meant to be writing an essay about satire in Alexander Pope's 'Essay on Criticism'. Just read the thing about satire by Dryden that we're basing our comparison thing on, and not only is it less than a page long, it actually says nothing. The few bits that look even marginally helpful are too 18th Century for me to get my head around >.<

I'm really a in funk over this whole finding a job thing. Is it me? Do people not like me and my happy demeanor? Am I trying to hard to please people? Are my boobs to big or to small? Why doesn't anyone want to hire me? I'm praying to find a job before I have to work at Goodwill because I know after ten days I'll kill myself.

why would you kill yourself for working at goodwill?  that's like a dream job, you have your pick of cool shit.

I just do not like Goodwill at all. I've tried my hardest to like it but I just can't! It's the weirdest thing!

I want to use "Ursula" as a middle name for one of my babies, but Seamy says it's a car-crash of a name. He is a little bitch. I have the same problem with my boyfriend. I want to name one of our babies Ozma but he says no! He even said no to Dorthy! What's wrong with that name? It's a sweet, simple name. Men are such dorks.

My Vodafone's the same. Well there's that, or that there's just nobody who texts me xD
Vodafone also pulled a real dickish move on me. I signed up for my plan, after being told that after 6 months I would be able to change down to a cheaper plan. But after 5 months, they released new iPhone plans, and the one that I'm on is now retired, which means that I can't change plans anymore. I have to stay on the one that I'm on now. Which sucks.

baah, phone fight with girlfriend...

basically, she said she's coming to my town next week, but she won't be staying at my place -because she doesn't want to bother my parents- but she'll stay at a friend's house.
i do understand her point of view... but really, my parents don't mind at all, and the house is big, so everyone can have their privacy, and we can sleep in the same bed.
what pissed me off so much is that she doesn't understand MY point of view...
that is, it breaks my heart that she's coming here and we won't be spending the nights together.
her friend is a nice guy but i don't know him that well and it's not like i can go spend the night at their place.
and then she was like ''we can go dancing with x, y , blabla'' and i said no and she was all ''i thought we could have a common social life''
and i'm all for it, except that i cannot conceive a ''social'' life when we have no ''everyday'' life...
that is, since i already see her so little, i feel fucking ripped off to know she'll be in town yet ''out of my hands''...
and i mean, i'd rather spend more intimate time just the two of us alone rather than going out.
also she hasn't seen said friend for MONTHS,
so i shouldn't be so possessive maybe?
well i told her fine, come here, stay at your friends, go out with them and we'll see each other another time.
then i hung up....

Aww Syl *hugs* i'm sure she does not want to do so.

Maybe she could not say no to her friends? You know sometimes friends keep expostulating on you like "now that you have a relationship you don't call/meet me...". Maybe it's been a very long time since the last time she has seen her friends, and going to that town she also wanted to see them? Or maybe she is just too shy to meet the parents?
You are such a beautiful couple, i hope you make it up soon.
