Syl, i'm so sorry.


I don't know what to say, seeing the mess with her mum hurts your relationship too much. And looking from her side, i also know, one can not easily ignore a control-freak mother.

I hope it is the best for you both. I know you still love her and you did your best to keep this relationship alive, but sometimes love is not sufficient.

I just left my girlfriend. I always said I'd never do it for this particular reason but I can't take it anymore. Sp I give up.
This Summer from mid-july she's working in San Diego, so we were supposed to finally spend the summer holidays together, two weeks or so in august...
Today she tells me she'll be away with her mom in august. I freaked out. literally started freaking out in the street, and left her.
We had talked about it before and I told her I couldn't stay another 45+ days without her, cause last summer was horrible and i even had panic attacks and so i wantted this summer to be good.
it's clear enough she'll never choose me, i can't compete with her mother and never will be able to....
sorry for the shitty spelling but i'm sobbing
and i hate myself cause i had promised myself that i'd never leave her because of her mom, that it would be bad for my gf, and her mom would take even more control over her,
that i'd be patient and wait but things don't seem to be getting better. i love her so much and wish her all the best but i have to take myself out of the equation, cause i don't like threesomes. but i know i'll never get over her... so it sucks for me....

It's been nearly two years since I broke my leg. It still fucking hurts. Today it's extra bad and my "just ignore it" system of getting on with things really isn't working.

Also, I'm sick of limping but that's permanent. So it's not really day ruining as much as forever annoying.

I broke both of the bones in my leg, completely dislocated my ankle and broke it in three places and broke a bunch of bones in my foot. I've had a couple of surgeries but one of my leg bones (not the weight bearing one) is still broken and they think I'm going to need an ankle reconstruction to fix my ankle. They aren't sure that it would work. One of the other options was rebreaking my ankle and resetting it. Doesn't sound that appealing so I'm trying to avoid it.

Not bad for a slip on a coloring book. I'm just glad I can walk at all.

OK, so it's not too ruinous, but I've only been up for an hour, so this has ruined what little of the day I've seen so far. Apparently, Gladstone the bulldog isn't Holmes canon, so now if I name my lovely (and currently imaginary) bulldog Gladstone, people will think I'm a massive fan of the RDJ films. Trying to decide if I'm OK with that or not. ...I think I probably am. I'm way too attached to this imaginary animal to change his name now.

Eventually. I won't be able to walk for 6 weeks after I have it done, so I'd have to wait until someone can help me out with the froglets.
