I spent half of the day working on my website, and it was all working great, until I made it that the look of the links only applied to the ones in the menustrip instead of every link on the site. It still looks like it should when I open it in my computer, but when I upload it and open it online, it fucks up.

what my website looks like and what it is supposed to look like. Urgh, I can't figure out what's going wrong, but it's making me sad that it won't work, it needs to be finished by the end of the week, so I can apply for internships!

Oh I see. I don't think it makes a massive difference, is it really that important? It's very impressive either way

Yesterday was pretty bad.
I had only 30 minutes of sleep, maybe that much, and had to take a super early bus to the ferry. Once I got to the Island my grandparents are on, I waited an hour for them to pick me up.
Instead of picking me up, though, they had already packed my bag (is it sad that this nice thing sort of annoyed me?) and said "just go back to Seattle, you'll have more fun there"
I was super tired so I really did not want to go back to Seattle...I did not want to have fun. Especially with my big pack. But I could tell they wanted me to go, so I did.
They said they loved me, and took off.

They did not, however, say happy birthday.
And my super tired self could not handle this.
I went into the bathroom and cried for a while.

I sat like a zombie at the train station for four hours. That was my "having fun".

But last night was wicked awesome and all the sleep I've gotten has made up for it. I'm so glad I came back to Portland.

i'm fairly certain i'm coming down with the flu AND my shower's broken AND my flatmate just had a bath so i can't have one tonight coz there'll be no hot water

it's funny how i can survive through years of hallucinating and just general shit but having a sore throat and back makes me want to jump in front of a train

my parents just had a HUGE fight. ugly ugly insults, my dad was completely out of his head and i would have gladly punched him in the face,
i have no idea how can my mum put up with anything like this...
basically dad made me a favor shipping a parcel with UPS from milan cause in my town it wasn't possible,
but it got sent to the wrong address,
so i was like, really mad, asking him why he didn't call me.
so then he started fighting with my mom and he almost broke a salad bowl and i'm like...WTF?
serious anger management issues.
he also said stuff like my mum was a ''piece of shit'' and kept calling her that.
i feel so awful cause i feel like i caused it... my dad's family also has history of depression and i know he's under a lot of stress,
but there hadn't been such a big fight for quite a while...

*Hugs* Sylvie, please do not blame yourself. It's just, sometimes people get so stressed out and look for a reason to start a fight. There must have been another reasons for them to get angry with eachother, you know it's not that easy to share the same home and common responsibilities through all those years.

And such discussions mostly are better than non-communication at all.

I got told earlier this week that the manager coming in to take over my store was in training this week, and would be in store next week which meant I would have to spend a few days with her to get her up to standard before I can move on.

Then today I got told that she wasn't in training, and that I had to hold out for a few more weeks.

I'm sick of being told one thing, and then something completely different the next day.

A 12 year old girl was hit by a car today and later died really close to my house. She was the sister of my sister's girlfriend's best friend, so I didn't know her personally, but my sister's girlfriend is heartbroken and my sister is too. It's just so fucking horrible that this happened. I can't even imagine what her family is going through. Everyone in my house is sad because we're all reminded of how short life can be and how suddenly it can come to an end.

I knew he was leaving in October, but now he's leaving in July instead.

i'm in the flat on my own and i have nothing to do and it's really sunny but i don't want to go to the park on my own because i'll look silly and also once i get to the park i will be stuck with the same problem of having nothing to do.

i wish i could relax.

Fucking anti-abortion protesters in Belfast city centre. They had these A-boards up with pictures of dead foetuses on, and I didn't realise what it was and looked and then had to go and have a sit down and a smoke. Seamy and I were out for something to eat and it took me half an hour to get my appetite back. It's such a cunty thing to do. Apart from anything else, this was a Saturday afternoon in the middle of town - there were kids running about all over the place, they don't deserve to have that kind of thing sprung on them. Fuckheads.

My flatmate and her boyfriend are fighting again. It stopped for a while, but it's been coming back, and I'm really quite worried for her safety but I don't know what to do.
