^Charlie, that would be amazing xD I've not smoked for about a week or so now, not because I decided to quit but because I haven't felt like it, and perhaps it'll stay that way. One thing he has succeeded in is making every single smoke remind me of him, which is not what I want right now.

@everyone else - Thank you so much, you're champions. And yes, he is a blighter, a cretin, an asshat, and many more things besides. I can't get my head round it, but everything he's done in the last year or so and especially these last few weeks has just made me less and less inclined to make any effort with him. I'll go and move my stuff out, maybe see him for my birthday and maybe not, and stay at my mum's or my best friend's when I need to be in England. It'll be fine, and eventually it might even stop hurting.

My ex-boyfriend is really depressed and I'm afraid he'll try to hurt himself. He's actually told me he wants to end his life, and I'm really sure he's not just saying it for attention. I've spent a lot of time with him during the last two weeks, because I don't want anything to happen to him, but it's not a healthy situation for either of us. I really don't know what to do anymore, because nothing seems to help.

@topic: government red tape, still have no money, a month behind on the internet bill. We have this half-arsed system that you need your parents to sign forms if you're under 24, and they've apparently lost my mothers form, and she now lives in Skye, where I have no means of contacting her.

EDIT: spoke to them on the phone. They have my mothers, it was my fathers they couldn't find, so they put me on hold while they had a look and it turned up. It was meant to be processed 10 working days after I handed it in, so getting mail 12 working days afterwards saying they didn't have one of the forms provoked me to adequate polite grumpiness (I hate being rude even when I'm fucking angry) that they said they'd try and get it done in the next few days and give me a call. Whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen, but the woman I spoke to didn't seem as bad as most of them.

Bad exam. I knew it was going to be bad because I revised everything from the classes and then looked at the past papers only to realise I could answer any of the questions. I managed to get through this exam, and then get emails that my last two pieces of coursework are ready for pick up. So I go to the office just to find out the office staff are on their obnoxiously long 2 hour lunch break. I understand sitting playing computer games from 10 to 12 is demanding work and they have to prepare themselves for 2 hours for doing the same thing from 2 to 4, of course. It's not like there are important things for us to pick up or anything.

Poor thing Good luck on the exams, sorry if things don't go how you want them to, but I'm sure you'll manage. As for the obnoxious lunch break havers, I suggest you mace them when you get in there. And I don't mean "mace" as in "pepper spray", I mean like a medieval mace. I'd settle for a flail.

my mum told me that my dad's neighbour saw him throwing out the beds and doona covers he had kept in place since we stopped staying there in 4ish years ago and even though i really hate him at the moment it still kind of hurts a lot because i remember when we would go and visit for a few hours it always made us so happy that he had never moved the beds or sheets or anything because we thought it meant that he actually wanted us to stay again

Today was the hottest day of the year and I was too hungover to go outside. I wasn't even THAT hungover, I have no idea how people work and do normal things with hangovers.

We got an inspection notice (2 one in three months) and we figure it's probably because our landlord wants to sell. Which means we will have to move out of this awesome house that is perfect for us.

I'm trying to not let it get to me. I figure if I get a night job then we might have enough money to buy a house and then I can look after the kids during the day. I don't sleep that much anyway and it would be worth it if it meant we never had to move again.

Try not to worry too much yet. I've lived in houses that have been sold, and often the new landlord as been willing to continue the tenancy. Depends who ends up buying it, really :S
