My co-worker found out today that her good friend lost both of his legs from a mine while in Afghanistan. We told her to stay home, but she refused. She cried for a little while in the beginning, but mostly kept a straight face. You could still tell that she was distraught though. :/

Shit, I'm sorry to hear that. I can see why she'd want to come into work, though, if it could help her act normal and take her mind off it. I hope her friend is coping okay.

i had panic attacks this summer and i'm constantly terrified it's going to happen again...
i think you should really try and work on the reasons why you had it, because they're always pretty strong signals that our body sends out to say "hey, sort that shit out!"
