it's in this very design and artsy new café in milan... and the place is huge, so i can print my works BIG, like 15 pieces 1m x 70cms!

What made my day:

I had an interview for a work experience thing today. Don't know if I've got it, though. I was really nervous before I went in. My head went in overdrive: "oh my... I shouldn't have gotten this piercing last week! What if the head of the school or the person who's in charge of the work experiences is old/kind of conservative... the piercing is too prominent, it's not as if you can look past it... bla di bla". And then the head of the school came to get me and introduced me to the person in charge. She had more piercings than I've ever had in her face alone. I also recognized her from seeing her/talking to her in the beginning of the school year (without knowing who she was), when it was still warm. So I happen to know she's also covered in tattoos. So that won't be a problem either. Whoow!

I really hope I got the place.

All I've been doing all day is listening to Hot Chip and LCD Soundsytem, reading Destiel fanfiction and talking to my second favourite housemate while she cooks for me. I have got this day in the bag.

Today, I was drawing in my friends bookstore, drawing an idea for an Amanda Palmer in Frida Kahlo style.  It was only a rough, but a lady really liked it anyway.   i sold it to her for five dollars.  It made be feel good that someone saw something they liked in it.

I went out last night after work with a bunch of workmates. One of them even walked me to my flat so I could get my passport so I could get into the casino. It was really fun and I got a little tipsy cos I was so tired but I had a great night.

I'm going to redraw it! I've been letting this idea brew for awhile now.  Back a few months ago, Amanda posted a picture of herself on twitter trying on "Mexican Wedding dresses" but they were Quinceanera dresses.  So I drew her in a traditional dress.  she liked it and wanted the unibrow.  I told her no.

I've been working on an idea to give her one that isn't hair.

Someone from this forums has drawn AFP as Betty Boop, and it was marvellous. Also, i just thought that she could make an awesome Mona Lisa too.

^That is so much awesome! I was using just cheapo colored pencils ,but now I'm thinking I'll use prismas for the job.  I do love colored pencils, it's like being a kid again.

Just got home from a weekend down south for a family reunion. We basically only went to the events with food, but it was really good food.
Queenstown is amazing, it was totally four seasons over the weekend though. Our first night it kinda snowed, then it was really sunny on Saturday then it rained afterwards. But the scenery down there is just breathtaking.
I also got to spend the weekend running round after my 2 year old cousin who is just the cutest. She also seems to have a never ending supply of energy.

But now I'm home. But I don't have to go back to work till Wednesday.
