lmao, no, she's Northern Irish. It's a pretty weird accent, I suppose.

Well, she doesn't say much in the video, except where you're speaking simultaneously,
so I could easily be missing it.  (Andohbytheway, I think I prefer your natural voice...)

I got two forward helix-piercings! One in each ear. And it only cost me €35! Yay! it's really pretty. They hurt like a bitch, but it's pretty! The one in my right ear was the worst. The cartilage in that ear is ticker than in my left. So after the right, the other one felt like a soft breeze on a summer's day.

I went SHOPPING. As well as a flowery dress and some shiny new boots, I got everything I need for my Hallowe'en costume and a few things I just wanted. I've decided to make my nails look like I crawled out of my own grave, here's the test drive:

Am pretty fucking chuffed with the results xD went a bit OTT with the fake blood, but it's all good.

I still wasn't sure about what to wear on Amanda's show tommorrow. I'm visiting my parents today, so I explained to my mom who's Amanda Palmer and what's the dress code for her show and I wasn't even finished when my mom jumped out, ran to her room and brought me the most perfect cape covered with sequins, which belonged to her grandmother. So now I'm really happy cause I know what to wear on the show and cause my mom is so awesome.

It's from New Look, the men's department :D I like it a lot too. It's in my top three favourite jumpers. I mean, I only have three, but still...

@sangrebloom - Score! I think this is the first time I've really gone for it with a Hallowe'en costume, I'm looking forwards to it immensely.

Today I was reading about tattoos (which I do every day, so that's nothing special), and I was reading this piece on the functionality of outlines and why certain tattoos without outlines won't work: it would cause the inks to mix/run over after a good while.

And then what made my day: reading this gave me a revelation on a piece I'm doing for my mother. I was kind of stuck on how to execute it. I'm painting a little sculptures elephant for her, the surface of the elephant is smooth and non-absorbant. Obviously it's also curved. I wanted to paint a couple of pretty flamingos on it, using transparent ink, and I was at loss on how to do this. The ink would just run off the surface if I use it as is. Mixing it with another medium isn't an option either, because this would lose the transparency of the inks. But: outlines! I can use acrylic outlines! Why haven't I thought of it any sooner? Now I just have to rework the design so that it will work when I use lines.

my faves were the pink Slayer t-shirt with the rainbow and the Ted Nugent hammer-and-sickle T-shirt. I might have one of those Nugent ones made.
