That is all I can stand. When I say "we" are fishing I mean they are fishing and I will probably fish a few minutes & then read my book. My country (*sigh* read: hick/ redneck) only goes so far.

Today I sat in bed with my laptop doing work for a while, and I hung out with my best friend for most of the evening. Also I found a new friend that likes some of the same music I like, which is rare. Not the Dolls or Amanda though, different music.

Seeing Amanda perform in Paris, without voice (kind of), made my year, I think. I don't know what it was that made the experience so epic, but it was definitely something. Maybe the "concert acting as a self help group" aspect did it.

really? i thought i'd try prepare for the worst so i'm not disappointed... i really don't know what to expect... and i'm slighty worried about her doing all these shows having a bronchitis!? at least, an instore gig that was scheduled for tomorrow afternoon already got cancelled  (albeit :'() :-/

Sometimes, those can be the best gigs. Years ago, I saw Ian Astbury of the Cult blow his voice out 4 songs into a show. After a break for a few minutes, he came out and told us what happened - then he and the band continued with the show. They burned the place down with plenty of singing help from the crowd.
