I am writing up a STOOOOOORRRRRMMM over here in this muthafuckin library YO!!

Not writing anything important or, you know, helpful, but writing lots of it.

god, i wish this was my post! haha. should have done the exact same thing but was to tired too go to the library and research+write stuff

I thought the same thing!  I'm in envy with Indja... your writings make me all green.

It's not uni stuff or anything useful, like I said. It's basically a kind of procrastination, but a weirdly productive kind - to avoid doing work that actually needs done, I'm getting loads done on something not really necessary! Hurrah!

Got my new manual coffee brewer cone. It's not one of those fancy porcelain cones, just a Melitta one made of plastic. But the first coffee i just made with it turned out to be super tasty :love5:

I'm so in love with the coffee made in these cones that i put my coffee machine aside.

thanks for making us feel better :D but the mere fact that you're at the library actively writing something lets you score lower on the procrastination scale!

yes, but the library factor is still huge in keeping the points down. just be sure you don't post anything too intellectual on the box  ;)

Yeah, but I think she's in the library because her computer is still in the shop?

@Indja - Still, you're beating the rest of us procrastinators. I have a fuckton of work to do and instead I'm fixing to go sit in the bath with a cup of tea and a book after I finish lunch. At least you're producing something. As soon as you get off of the shadowbox, anyway.

^Yeah, I'm only in the library because I don't have my laptop at the moment. Although, I wrote most of what I've written today in long-hand sat at a desk in here because it's quiet and I don't have things to distract me. So maybe that keeps my points low.

Yeah, that definitely does. Long-hand is tedious. So you've got to be task oriented for that.

I quite like it. I like being able to scribble out and write arrows and things all over the page. It's a lot easier than trying to edit as you go on a computer, because on a computer when it's deleted then it's poof! gone :( But you can still see what you've scribbled out on the page so you can keep track of it better. Also, my handwriting is badass ;)

I'm trying to write just a novel, so nothing really important or ground breaking, but i'm stuck.

I got a call back from a short job interview I had last Friday, and I've scheduled a full technical interview for Thursday next week.

After ages contemplating buying one and then finding one and it being pretty expensive to run, I finally got a printer up and running! I'm pretty sure I've used almost all the ink already haha, I had a bunch of stuff to print. But I'm so glad I finally have it, it was starting to get really frustrating :P

you'd think that with all the technological advances our civilization has made, they'd make a printer that actually works half the time.  Being without one definitely stinks!  I was without one for awhile and couldn't do my extreme couponing so I actually had to pay full price for groceries  :-\

I hadn't had one before and had to rely on the library and such but that's obviously more expensive and it discouraged me from printing things I could probably have used. But everything is ok now!
