one and the same. she joined Nightwish on kinda an emergency basis at the end of September 2012. no one really thinks she's going to stay beyond the end of the tour in August or whenever, but I'm hoping.

Spoke to a guy at my favourite cinema who gave me some advice for applying there in a few months when they're hopefully hiring then had an amazing mocha. I applied at a couple of other places, too, and might stand a chance. Productive days give me hope

I hope you get the theatre gig, just so you can tell me if working at a cinema down there is
as wild as working at a cinema here...... (I worked with a guy who had previously been a
theatre assistant-manager, and boy did he have some stories...  )

Anette was actually planning to leave after the US tour, and Floor was going to take over for South America and NZ/OZ anyway, but Anette jumped early.

Floor is amazing live, and she really owns the stage.
She's also really nice, I was talking to her for a bit backstage after the show.
So glad I actually got to see her live, I've wanted to since I first heard After Forever and never thought I'd get the chance.

I had another good exam this morning.

Afterwards I went to subway, so I could eat something before going back to studying (I skipped breakfast because I was too busy revising this morning). They had their white chocolate chip/macadamia cookies, so I bought two, to reward myself later today! Usually when I'm at subway, they don't have them anymore. So yay!

won a couple of cool things this week - i liked a photo on facebook and was randomly chosen to get a Wreck it Ralph wristwatch (it's quite badass and good quality) AND then i bought an icecream and won some Skullcandy headphones (red ones worth $30+ ^^ )

Who's the current vocalist? Is she any better than Anette Olzon? I never liked her voice, so i stopped listening to them when Tarja got replaced.

I just wikipediated her and I'm really surprised. She's in ReVamp. I went to the same school as the guitar player, Jord Otto (who is a God on guitar, and can also sing quite well).

AMC 600 North Michigan. A few blocks off Michigan Ave is AMC River North, which is much bigger and there's a bowling alley in the same building, you might have been there.

It WAS enormous....  I don't remember seeing a bowling alley, but the
place was so big one could easily miss such a detail.....

It was River North. The bowling alley is probably easy to miss if you don't know it's there.

Also what actually made my day was visiting my cousin, who is awesome.

Well, 2am just happened. No idea where that came from. It snuck up on me while I was caught up in the music of The Simple Pleasure. Which is why I'm posting this here.

The simple fact that I had 'Carnival of Love' in my head since I woke up this morning, made my day. It's like I had this really awesome personal party in my head. ALL DAY LONG. The party had glitter leggings, jacket dances and people screaming "OH OH O O OW". I've been dancing in my head, all day long! There even was a moment where I danced down the street to music only I could hear.

I also realise that this post may sound as if I'm on drugs. But I'm not. I guess I'm just happy
