On Friday, a friend of mine here took me to dinner because she was worried I wasn't eating enough, and I really needed the support. She was so lovely that in the end, I almost stayed over at her house, since I'd spent two hours having a heart-to-heart with her over a nice cup of tea.

Yesterday was Audrey's exhibition and it was great: her art is even more impressive in real life! And there were a bunch of lovely lovely Shadowboxers there who were much fun and very pretty and wonderful people. And I got quite drunk (on hardly anything) and ended up lying on the floor of the gallery with Sophia teasing her about a guy she met at my party. Then I went to Rachael's house with Audrey (and Rachael), which was great, and despite what I said about the cat, she was really cute. And breakfast was delicious and I had a shower with new conditioner and my hair is all shiney and soft, which automatically makes me feel better.
Also, Fergus' comments.

I played astronaut and thirty whacks on a piano at school.
people started to gather.
they seemed to like it.
and that really made my fucking day...yesterday. haha
and the day before i was playing girl a and someone came in and asked how i played so well.
where's my ego?
oh, there it is....

Well done

That's such a cute cake! I love it

I is takin the piss out of Scotland, yeah?
Being back in Oxford and knowing that Tuesday isn't far off
I quite like Scotland. I really wanted to go study in Edinburgh, but they were mean to me on the phone when I wanted to change my application.
eeeee, I'm looking forward to it too! It's just the other side of my essays

Getting paid for LITERALLY doing nothing at all, and getting paid a lot for it.
Seriously, i spent 8 hours of my day just sitting on a air castle, i said "take of your shoes, please" about 20 times, helped 3 kids with taking off their shoes, put 1 pair back on and carried 3 kids off the air castle. that's it. i got paid 65 euro for that, and one of those 8 hours was a lunch break, which was paid by the event manager too. so i got free food too xD
Haha, I'd love a part-time job like that (even though I can't tie laces!). The only part-time job I've ever had (repression knocks your self-confidence...) was directing cars around my university on an open day.
