We should have swapped - I needed to stay up to work and managed to fall asleep on my books, as per usual.

Oh I'm sure I'll sleep soundly tonight. But I was too excited by everything to sleep last night.And now I've been wearing my shoes for too long and my foot's starting to fall off!

The soles of my feet are kind of tender. I'm going to lay off the footwear for a few hours.

Aaaah. I can't decide whether the short-term hurrah of this is making my day, or the long-term FUCKOFFOUTOFMYHEADness of it is ruining it :\

But I also don't remember if I told y'all what made my day yesterday, so I'll do that now instead:


I made a cover of "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones with no less than 2 drums parts (one of which was going through a scream distortion), a NASTY bass and two synths, and me singing like a muthafucka, only I don't like any of the lines except, "I can't get no satisfaction", "Hey hey hey, that's what I say", "You know I'm on a losing streak" and "He can't be a man cos he does not smoke the same cigarettes as me", so those are the only lines, but they get sung all at like different times and together and stuff.

Basically, I'm proud of making lots and LOTS of *very* cool noise xD

Still, I'd say, that there are more open minded people amongst older people than amongst the younger ones.

The weather being absolutely beautiful
Watching Amanda Palmer youtube videos for an entire hour
Feeling physically well enough to leave the house
...tuning up my old guitars and mucking about with them for the first time in a year.
