Today, my store manager and regional manager were "fighting" over me today. The regional wants me to spend a week helping to run a store so I can get a feel for the management and learn, but my store manager doesn't want me to go because I'm too valuable to the store xD

My boss is trying to teach me some Arabic so that i can greet Arabic customers and co-workers. I must admit i'm the only girl of this foreign trade office, so at some points -though middle east is not my area to work on- they want me to have meeting and negotiate with some of the middle easternian customers who tend to be happier to talk to a lady  I keep the distance but until i sell the machinery i dally with them 
So i'm trying to learn Arabic and first shit i have learnt is their famous excuse: Insha allah & Bukra & Ma3lesh. It means: If God Wills & (I Hope)Tomorrow & Please Excuse Me(for delaying it).

But i tend to use it whenever my boss tells me something i don't want to do right away

After my crazy marathon day at school yesterday, today is devoted to making chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow frosting (topped with a Peep!), and peanut butter fudge, and cooking beef ribs for dinner. (Even after a reminder of beef slaughter techniques in my Agriculture class yesterday...ignorance is bliss...)

Tentative Christmas plans of my eldest sister and my youngest nephew coming to visit for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!  Last time I saw him he was five, and he'll be eight by Christmas. 
And I've been family-sick lately, missing all the people that kind of look like me. My mom is nice to have around, but I always mope after those big family get togethers.

I get to be the cool aunt. Whhhhaaattt. Of course he is way cooler than me. He listens to The Doors and thinks that Justin Beiber sucks. Aww.

I've been trying to make some summer plans which involve going down to see my best friend in England and then off to L in Wales, cos it's not very far and is arguably on the way back.

It all depends on if I can get time off work though, cos August is a big no no month for holidays here

30 Seconds to Mars is NOT underground. If they play arenas (and in Finland, too!) they're not underground.

Overall, saying "they're so underground you probably haven't even heard of it" makes you sound like a dickish hipster. I quite want the bands I love being recognised, or at least loved by my other friends too. What's the problem with a band going mainstream anyway, as long as they're being true to their music? It's only when bands or  artists become lazy or start making music that's intented "popular", they make me mad.
