I discovered that my college timetable is actually dramatically smaller than first thought. Dramatically.
It seems that because it's not yet time to choose which English seminar group to be part of, all of them turn up on your timetable.
So instead of being in from 9am straight through to 6pm without a break on Monday, I now only have two hours that day  :buck2:

I feel stupid for misinterpreting it....but screw it I'm relieved.

^I'm in for 9 hours all week, with Mondays and Fridays off, Wednesday afternoon, and depending on which tutorial group I choose for Epistles, either Tuesday or Wednesday morning as well. And I'm living upstairs from my lectures, so my commute is literally two minutes xD

is it a good or bad thing when one's s.o. is so much more of a commute,
than one's work/classes?

me and Audrey got abuse hurled as us from a chav mobile yesterday.
suspecting they would u-turn in the road for more abuse etc, we got our smart phones out.
They lobbed a bottle of something at us (which missed) then mounted the bridge pavement.
Then we took a picture of the car.
The driver got out, I told Audrey "keep walking, leave me to deal with him and don't look back".

The chav squared up to me saying "oh aye greebo, like takin pictures of my car think your fuckin funny wanna go etc"
I waited for him to throw the first punch said nothing and stared at him (while keeping enough distance for it to miss/counter)
He spouted some hardman shit and left.

...Why this made my day?
well I get this crap at least once every 2 months in Carlisle because of how I dress and for once I am glad to have had the forethought to have my camera ready toget the license plate/car model etc for the cops.
I reported the incident to them minutes later as he performed an illegal manauver in a dual carriageway, threw a projectile at pedestrians, then got out to start an unprovoked attack on said pedestrians.
Somehow I don't see him keeping his drivers license when this is all over :D

I would call that a win.

I'm rather more motivated to see my handsome than my professors, so I think it's best this way round :) And he's only ten minutes down the road, anyway.

Tsk lucky bitch, I've an hour and half commute to college. I actually leave the county seeing as NUI Maynooth is actually in Kildare. When people ask where I'm from I have to remember to say Dublin instead of specifically where in Dublin.

@Johnny: I would also call that a win. People who do that sort of stuff need to learn a lesson.

@Topic: coffee, sex, food, sleep, gaming time. Also, the only homework I have to do tonight is a ten page article about fantasy novels, and getting started on the Chronicles of Narnia. I'm feeling pretty relaxed right now :D

Haha, The Beehive is the name of our Parliamentary building. Very different Beehive.

I had that kind of thing when I registered for the doctor's over here. She asked me where I was born, and I told her the town that the hospital is in. She looked at me and was like, "...so, like, England?" xD
