Got a bunch of pretty dresses from a friend! They're exactly my size, and she doesn't wear them anymore, so I could have them... YAY!

Today we rode out to Windermere on the bikes.  They had the owls out today and I held one! I look utterly retarded and psychotic in the photos because I was grinning like a maniac, so I'm not posting them, but the owl was awesome! The guy told me to put my hand under it's wing and tickle it's leg and when I did, it started opening and closing it's beak.  Also when Matt was trying to take pictures, it kept turning it's head the other way, so the guy kept having to push it's head around to face the camera.

It didn't want to get off my hand when the guy called it, so he put his nose in its beak and looked it in the eye and said 'you can't stay on her arm all day' and it crawled onto his. It loved him, every time he held it it put it's wing around his shoulder and he said that's how you know an owl is your friend, it was so cute.

They also had tiny owls and a barn owl, I stroked them all.  The guy explained how barn owls get one side of themselves to sleep and lift up that leg while the other side of them is awake and alert, then they swap over, which I never knew before.
YOU     MUST   SHARE    THE    PICTURES.....   :)

There is absolutely no way I can allow you guys to learn just how retarded I can be. That is something you learn once you've known me in real life for a while. I may try to find some non-retarded stills from the video Matt took, though.

OMG owls, that sounds really awesome.

my day was made by having way less homework to do than i thought, so if i'm quick i can go to read my book/watch a film tonight as well.
it's funny how if so much is fucked up in the grand scheme of things its little stuff like that that will make my day.

i woke up at 9:30 and vomited quite heavily (which is regular for me in the morning these days, the doctors are stumped) and got really scared because the puke was red, so i panicked for half an hour then went to the kitchen to get water and saw the bottle of reggae reggae blood orange and pomegranite juice sat on the counter and remembered i got woken up by someone fighting outside my window really early and had a glass of that stuff.

so i'm not dying, which is nice.

^Maybe you're pregnant ;) In srsface though, the throwing up sucks, but I'm very glad it was just juice :D

My day was made by an impromptu trip to the Ulster Museum, which I love, and the spending of crazy money on four poly gliders - two planes, a bird and a dinosaur - to add to my collection, and a little mini excavation thingy where you dig up the 'bones' of a t-rex and then glue him back together again :D

I don't know why this makes my day but it does.

I've become really conscience of smells lately, like the a persons smell.
I don't know if it's the cologne they wear or what.
But I've found myself stopping on the street and saying "Wow, something back there really smelled like Gus" and even now I'm thinking that my sheets smell like Bert (who was in the bed earlier so it's not a mystery as to why) and yet I don't recognise these smells when I'm with the person.
The brain is crazy.

i didn't puke up any reggae reggae juice today! which was nice.

the on/off button on our shower doesn't work properly anymore, meaning you have to basically trick it into working by hitting it a lot, and my flatmate hasn't realised this and he got in the shower five minutes ago, and all i can hear now is him punching the thing and screaming 'COME ON FOR FUCK SAKE' and it's highly amusing.

also i am going to darlington today.

SLEEEEP. Also Micky baked me a gluten free cake of om nomness and we all went out for yummy vegan eats last night. And Avery bought me a ridiculous present which I will promptly name and hide away somewhere for when I feel lonely. Well, lonely is probably the wrong word.
