I almost just vomited with joy.

I took this wine class last quarter, and try as I did I reeeeaaaalllllyyyy didn't think I understood what was going on. Basic stuff I got, but I still can't read a wine label to save my fucking life. I checked the grade thing on the last day of the quarter and my percentage based on the points scale had me at a C. Whatever, I passed.

I am taking the next level wine course and after the first day, I had decided it was over my head. Lots of reading and projects and papers and oh my good GOD. Anyway, I was on the computer system looking up alternate classes and my grade report and blah blah and found out I actually got an A in that class. I don't understand.

Anyway, lots of joy vomiting. Constant joy vomit.

Also, I don't think I'm going to be dropping that wine class, but I am going to be seizing this quarter by the nut sack and reading everything and doing so much homework and oh my god.

I'm off to purchase the wine bible and wine atlas...

(Also, I got this news after going to an event for Johnnie Walker last night. Had a super delicious Johnnie Walker Black Label old fashioned and sampled Black, Red, Gold, and Blue. Then my friend and I went to another bar and had mai tais. Alcoholalcoholalcoholalcohol...)

I finished my reading BEFORE THE SUN SET. It's a miracle. My brain is so full of knowledge. I hope it stays in there for tomorrow. First meeting.
Oh yeah, guyzz, I'm training to help children through the court systems and such. Using my writing skillz to make sure kids are safe. So far I am really intrigued if not somewhat depressed by what I've learned. The fact that all of these horrid things have happened to kids, in order to make laws about them, depresses me. But maybe my fact infused reports will help. A little.

Now I've got the Kin by Peter Dickinson, Airman by Eoin Colfer, two Doctor Who books, Rites of Passage by William Golding, the Haunting and the Tricksters by Margaret Mahy, Just In Case by Meg Rosoff, The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson, the Box of Delights by John Masefield, Around The World In Eighty Days by Jules Verne, Bluebeard's Egg by Margaret Atwood, When God Was A Rabbit by Sarah Winman, Shadowmancer by GP Taylor, and the Complete Sherlock Holmes. Also downloaded Good Omens on iTunes and bought Pride & Prejudice and Stig of the Dump on cassette tape. Who needs a degree?!
