^Hmm here's a little sneak peak for you =)

And this one is my favourite, though it's not in Istanbul: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mor_Hananyo_Monastery
It has an amazing architecture which also includes an ancient sun temple in its foundation. One can easily fall in love with there: http://www.deyrulzafaran.org/360/

I haven't seen L in a few days cos I was trying to study and stuff (failing but that's irrelevant). But he was in town today so he came over for a wee bit for cuddles and they were lovely :)

So a friend of mine sent me something he's written, it's a true story of his own experience, but with changed names to make it fiction.
Think what Jenny did in the L word.

Reading through it I'm amazed at how I can identify real people, and judging by what's happening I think I may soon appear in this story.
So far I just can't stop laughing at the character who is clearly my best friend's ex-girlfriend's old room mate.

Thanksssssss  :D

So, I'll officially be the only one of the 5 students in this assignment who'll have a book to show. The other four aren't finishing in time... I feel kind of superior.

Even though it was awful, I finished this round of exams. My next one is on May 24th, and an assignment due on the 9th of May so I have a bunch of free time. So, exams are finished and after I got some rest, I got super motivated and ended up cleaning my room, hoovering, changing the sheets, doing all my washing and hanging posters I've had laying around for months. I'm quite proud of myself!

EDIT: Also, someone found the necklace I thought I lost. I messaged my flatmate about it, cos it was super early and then L was over earlier and he had a wee look for it and found it sitting on a shelf, where someone obvs put it. So that's an awesome thing.

My friend was in court today.  She was arrested for taking a pair of scissors out of her bag when a guy punched her in the stomach and his female friends tried to beat the shit out of her.  She had the pair of scissors from wrapping Christmas presents earlier that day, and anyone who knows her knows that she keeps EVERYTHING in her bag.  I know it is still illegal, but it was an honest mistake to still have them in there.  She is the least likely person who would hurt anybody, and I hate that she was arrested for this, because she must have been terrified.  I wrote a character reference to the court for her, because there is no way I would want her to be punished for something she would not do unless she was really scared.

Anyway, she sent me a message when she got out of court thanking me profusely for my character reference and telling me she had been found innocent.

Glad she got released, but what about the guy who punched her? I hope they put him into jail.

Now I've already posted this in the Gush About Your Crush thread but I thought I'd just tell you guys again. I asked out my crush. He's straight, but he said he was flattered. He was really nice about it.

Is the new loan at higher or lower interest than the old one?

Anyway, I think it's sad that American car-makers can produce little cars like that,
but they don't even bother to offer them for sale here. You can pay through the
nose for a Smart Car or a Mini Cooper....  It just seems stupid to me.

[edit: according to Wiki, they're planning to make a few adjustments (probably make
it bigger and less fuel-efficient) and offer it here in 2014 or 2015...]

Oh, and I like.  SHINY red car!   O0
