I'm off to a friends 21at, and I feel good. I like what I'm wearing and I feel confidant. I also like how short I made my hair.

Things are going to get better for me. I've decided they have to, and I've taken several pro-active steps towards this end today. I'm going to make this work. I have an interview for a temp agency tomorrow, and I just went to talk to the manager of a bar I'd like to work at, which went well until I awkwardly stammered 'nice to meet you' twice consecutively, but she said she'd call me by the end of the week and I'm going to follow it up, so hopefully I get a trial. Booked a meeting for an interest-free emergency loan to cover my rent next week, and put my cv in at a bunch of places. Maybe I'm just still in that early phase before I lose hope, but I feel like things will be better this time around since I've gained a little bit of work experience and a new reference, and have a new qualification.

got the keys for my new flat today wooohooo! it's in an old house and the flat very run down, so a few things will have to be done, but the rent is affordable and the location just perfect  :icon_queen:

^ I got the keys for my new flat on Saturday and moved Sunday, but I didn't get the internet set up until today. I am happy with mine too, it's not as nice as my previous one but it's all mine and I like the neighborhood much better.

Best. Day. Ever.

So it's been really hot here in Belgium today (like around 35°C/100F, and way up when you got in the sun). I had an exam in the morning, so I got up early, made the exam and it went really well. I finished first, so I waited outside in the sun (which wasn't as scorching then). When all of our class was done, we went to eat together in the cafeteria. Afterwards we went for drinks and ice cream (my dad makes/sells ice cream). Then we went to the park and just spent some time in the shade of the trees. Around 5pm I went home, had a much needed shower and then went back to school for a First Aid workshop. Afterwards we all went for drinks until around 1:30am. My crush and I decided it was still to hot to actually go to bed, so we went around looking for other things to do. Except: everything was closed, because I live in a stupid city. So I got home at around 2:30.

I don't know. It just felt like the-ultimate-summer-day-before-we-all-have-to-start-real-life.
