Sadly (and this is where I reveal the true extent of my dorkdom) I also suspect that your co-worker (Molotovna) probably stole that joke about Montalban's coffin being lined in rich corinthian leather from LeVar Burton (Geordi from Star Trek TNG) who made the exact same comment on his Twitter when he heard that Montalban had died.

He did, and he actually said it to me too, but I didn't think it necessary to include on here. Oh, well.

RIP Lux Interior.  :'(

I KNOW!

I almost died too when I found out at work last night.

I wonder if she left naked pictures to the public, through her will.

Bea Arthur has been the saddest celebrity death in a while for me. I loved that woman! I have all my Golden Girls dvds, and we would always watch them while hungover/having a sick day from work. I'm not ready for her to be dead yet.

Come back Bea!

Ekaterina Maximova, one of the greatest Russian ballerinas of the 20th century, died suddenly (and unexpectedly) a few days ago, aged 70. She is survived by her husband and dance partner, Vladimir Vasiliev, and her 91 year old mother.
