How much and what merch will they have?
« on: May 31, 2008, 02:12:40 AM »

I was wondering if anyone knew the price range for the merch they will selling on their tour? And are most of the merch they have in their online store be at the booth? I actually like the DD tie... :D but it's kinda expensive for me ($15)... will the prices be any cheaper on tour?

they won't be any cheaper and I didn't see a tie. Tshirts were around the 25 dollar range. They had a limited edition  silkscreen poster preautographed  for $30   a couple hats and a scarf and a tote bag.

in denver, i think every t-shirt was $25 (including the one i got) and they had cds that were $15 (i think).

i didn't notice the prices on the paradise and roundhouse dvds or the hoodies.

i wanted to buy the manifesto t-shirt, the one that says fuck all over it, but i realized i wouldn't be able to wear it anywhere so i got the red clock one instead.
basically the tour merch is the same price as the online store but they automatically add in the shipping cost.

The red shirt is pretty nice. I kinda like the "clockworks" one too... damn, I don't even know what shirt I want. Seems like concerts are upping the price of merch these days, but I could be wrong. I just spent $25 on a Birthday Massacre shirt as well when I went to see them and they aren't even remotely popular but Mindless Self Indulgence being their headliner was. I guess DD is a fairly popular band though. Although I guess $25 sounds pretty right for a cost of a shirt, but I remember at one point of time they used to be like $20 at some concerts. Oh well!

$25 seemed damn good to me.

i payed $30 for a cheap-ass, thin tour shirt at a nine inch nails show in '05, when the dolls opened. i payed $50 for a thermal nine inch nails shirt later that year and another $35 for the '06 tour shirt which is also a thin piece of shit.

Yeah, $30 is pretty expensive but NIN is really popular.

I would have bought a shirt at the concert last night but it didn't seem like they had much of a variety. I was hoping that they had the "clockworks" shirt or even the older shirts... so I'll probably end up ordering from the site instead, lol.

I should have bought their poster but they were sold out before the night was over. :(

i didn't get the poster because i had one that i got for free signed at the record store.

i wasn't about to pay for one that would probably get crunched/ruined during the show. i already almost lost the shirt i bought.

Aw, I wish I had bought money to the SF show. I want that shirt with Amanda's mom on it.

That's awesome. I wish I could get a poster free sighed at a records store! LOL, but of course that's how lame my city is. The poster's $30 alone and it's not even that big. But yeah good point, it would suck to get crumpled...especially after you spent $30 on it... but then it sucked if you were waiting to get it after the show because they were sold out.

That sucks. How'd you loose a shirt?

we were sitting on those massive bar stools on the balcony and i just set the shirt in my lap because i didn't want to put it on and cover up the santa gnome. after a while the stool got really uncomfortable so i stood/stretched my legs and the shirt fell on the floor.

i couldn't find it for about 2 songs until i stepped on it.
