Hey,

So we know how much Ms Palmer loves the Fringe, so is it likely she/the dolls will be making an appearance this year again? I know some of the European dates have been released during part of the festival run, so they will be in europe so Scotland may be more likely. If she was going to perform, would it be released with the official programme because it's out tomorrow and I'm already giddy with excitement.

Since last year, the only thing I've been eagerly anticipating is going back to the festival, but I can only afford to go there for a week at the most and will be gutted if I go and book all the stuff to find out she is playing and I'm going at the wrong time. Any thoughts, speculations, hopes?

o i hope so! i'm going to the fringe with the fabulous SR Gents again this year, so if amanda is there i will definately go see her! :)

well, unless she's playing under something other than amanda palmer or the dresden dolls or i'm missing something, she isn't playing this year 

missed her in 2006 and didn't make it up last year had really hoped to see her this time

Don't worry, acts can still apply, plus you don't have to be part of any of the festivals to play in Edinburgh in August. Most of the gig venues stay open for normal business, it's cafes etc that open performance spaces.

Problem is, she's booked up for the vast majority of August.
She's in London on the 21st, and no other tour dates from then, so she may come visit in the last few days.
