LOL, but the more complicated the clothes the more impressive the drawing is, I really like it; have you send it to any sort of T&S fan art site or something?

Yeah, I am a fan not an orthodox fan but I am one, as I said I only own The Con but I am looking forward to get another one, I used not to like them until another member of this forum (Kovacs) told me to buy it, that it was a great investment, so I did.

I'm so jealous, I can't make anything look this realistic. *falls over* Great stuff here.

It's so beautifull!

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

They don't, really, at least not an official one. Due to the general rabid nature of some of their fans, they've had to back off big time. Something about fans physically attacking them and what have you. Can't say I blame them.

But if you send prints to this address, I can guarantee Tegan will see/read it (it'll take a while though):

Amazing work!!

yeah, i definitely understand their need to back off even after just looking around the official forum. it's really quite sad how obsessed some of the fans who post there seem to be. makes me glad Amanda/The Dolls' fan base isn't the same!

thanks for the address. i'm not sure if i'll ever get round to doing a print, and if it would look any good as a print, but it's good to know.

and thanks for the compliments, everyone! :)

I like the way that last one looks unfinished. It makes it stand out.

thanks! i kinda preferred it unfinished, but oh well.

i just finished a crappy coloured pencil and pastel drawing of Sara which i'm not very happy with, but it was more or less an experiment.

and i updated my first post so that it contains the finished version of the Dolls sketch, along with a few other more recent ones. :)

I hate double posts, but...

Sara, from Tegan and Sara. Again. I need to draw Tegan next, I think.

do you use any drawing methods like a grid or do you just sketch from a photo?

your drawings are amazing and so lifelike

I use a grid for the very rough outlines because I'm not too good with proportions. and then I just fill in the details and shade, shade, shade. :)

ad nauseam

I swear that the last one of T & S looks nearly like a photograph. Your work is amazing!
